It’s officially the start of summer. For some people, such as teachers, summer is a good time to up-ramp infertility treatment. There are no classrooms to get to, and no regimented schedules to keep. (Good luck, teachers! You rock!). For others, summer is a time to kick back and take vacation, but is there ever a good time to take a vacation from infertility treatment?
I remember so clearly when I was 31 years old and had just been made Vice President of Video Services at MCA Records. My boyfriend Peter was so proud of me. “Honey, it’s so amazing, Today V.P., tomorrow C.E.O.” And I sat there in the passenger seat and said, “Yeah, but how about M.O.M ?!?!”
